The second episode of our series about the WTC sees me interviewing the wonderful Jaime Paris about everything from his preparations to the WTC Warmasters Singles event, through his games to his thoughts on the state of the army, the meta and the game itself. Who would have thought that the biggest devotee of the Four-Armed Emperor in Poland would actually be a Brit? But he is our Brit! And you can't have him! Well... actually you can for the next hour and fourty minutes... In this episode Joker and tweak^ interview Danny Porter, a player who has taken the Warsaw tournament scene by storm, who despite having an outdated codex managed to regularly place in the top 10 of the biggest events. And if you've listened to this podcast for a while now you'd know that even though the Polish events gather waaaay fewer than 100 players at a time they are still absolute sharktanks with former and present National Team members, aspirants to the NT and other regulars duking it out proper WTC style, so regular top 10s are an achievement in itself. Danny talks about his power-testing of the new codex in some experimental games and about how quickly a GSC devotee picks up the new rules, stratagems and other bits and bobs the new book has to offer. We go through each section of it and highlight the most outstanding and prominent goodies while tweak is doing his best to find some flaws in it. With this new episode we kick off a brand new series called 'My 40k job' where we will be interviewing people who managed to turn their love for the hobby into a profession. The series will see our guests talking about how they came up with the ideas for their businesses, what are the typical challenges of such endeavors, how their pricing/quotations work, how they structure their offering and even how they do marketing.

We kick off the series with the one and only Innes Wilson of Statcheck and Team Scotland fame. Innes has been offering coaching services since January 2023 as a full-time job and we found it appropriate to let him kickstart what will hopefully turn into an entire series of episodes. If you have ever had any doubts whether 40k coaching is a real job, whether you should try it and whether it is actually worth it - this episode will provide you with answers to all your questions.
