On Sunday 26th May 2019, Charlton took on Sunderland in the League One play-off final at Wembley Stadium. It was the Addicks' first visit to the famous north London arena in 21 years - and their first chance to play there since the venue had been rebuilt. The south-east Londoners faced the Black Cats in a repeat of the infamous 1998 Division One play-off final, with both sides battling it out for a place in the Championship. 

It was to be a memorable afternoon.
