With the Vancouver Canucks on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs against the Edmonton Oilers, Anna & Chris take a moment to share their feelings on Games 5 & 6 against the Nashville Predators.

In an effort to punish Anna & Chris for their pessimism, the Canucks decided to play some stellar - and dare we say inspired - hockey. Demko got a shutout and should've had a second. The blue line looked reliable, even WITHOUT Quinn. And the we've even seen glimpses of the team playing with speed. Can this all be real?!

Last week, Anna & Chris were oozing with confidence. Then moments after the episode was published, news broke that Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko was out for the foreseeable future. And after processing what it would mean that Casey DeSmith was the presumptive starter, news broke yesterday that he too was out and Arturs Silovs was getting the start.

Had you pitched this prior to the start of the playoffs and tell us that Vancouver would be up three games to one with a chance to win in it Game Five at home, we wouldn't have believed you. Yet here we are.

Anna & Chris discuss everything that has happened and revisit their early series prognostications to see if they remain just as confident.

Despite the optimism Anna & Chris had about the Canucks beating the Oilers in seven, it wasn't meant to be. The pair discuss why it took the team a period & some to remember it was the last game and to shoot the puck, and how emotional the rollercoaster ride was when the team attempted to storm back late in the third period. And with the season now over, they discuss what came out of the end-of-season press conference and what it might mean for the team we'll see next season.

With less than two weeks to go before the start of training camp, Anna & Chris react to the "troubles" in the crease and wonder why the Vancouver Canucks can't have nice things. They also share three questions they have going into camp and do their best to answer each of them. Plus all the usual run-of-the-mill off-the-rails stuff they toss in.

Recording the night before the game for all the marbles between the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers, Anna & Chris revisit the past week and discuss what led us to the point where Game 7 - the podcast preseries prediction - came to be. The pair outline what they feel will be a key to victory and discuss who might fill in for Brock Boeser, ruled out due to a "blood clotting issue."

With Anna back in the saddle, she and Chris discuss the past week of woes for the Vancouver Canucks. Lackluster play, a blueline that's blue, a goaltender with "back spasms," and dressing room drama that can only end in a multitude of ways. And that's just this episode!

The Vancouver Canucks sorted out one question mark on the blue line by signing Filip Hronek to an 8-year deal. Is it too long? Is it too much? Anna & Chris consider these questions and more. A few other Canucks contracts were signed, though many question marks remain. And what a wild Stanley Cup Final it has been.

Is J.T. Miller still a Canuck? While the question continues to get asked, Anna & Chris wonder if it will ever get answered. The pair also groan about two lacklustre efforts & toss some lumber around about the one full of lustre.

The Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup. Quinn Hughes won the Norris Trophy. The Canucks drafted a few players on Day Two of the NHL Entry Draft. And the team also got themselves a Jake during free agent frenzy. Anna & Chris recap the past two weeks, share a few thoughts on the players that left and the players that arrived (and the few that stuck around), and drop an "F-word" over the NHL news mixed in amongst it all.

While Anna & Chris were pessismistic about the Canucks chances the past week, the team grabbed four out of a possible eight points - including a shutout win in Toronto. Despite this, the pair remain quite concerned on the success of the team going into the week that will be.
