24 Mar 2021 | CAITLIN MORAN ON WOMANHOOD | 00:56:36
But why is middle age so freeing for women? This week Clemmie talks to author and journalist Caitlin Moran about Womanhood, specifically about what it is to live in a constant state of evolution. How we never really ‘become ourselves’ (as we might have imagined we would as kids), and instead are continually changing - and while that is challenging as well as a gift.
The conversation also strays into how problematic going for a wee in a jumpsuit can be and also why crisps really are our own true love; which arguably are both every bit as important as the nuts and bolts of womanhood.

This week Clemmie talks all things sisters with Clover Stroud, whose sister Nell Gifford, the co-founder of Giffords Circus, died from breast cancer just before Christmas 2019 at the age of 46. Just days before, she had been given years to live.
Her sudden death split Clover's life apart, and her new book, The Red of My Blood, charts her fearless passage through the first year after her sister's death. It is a book about what life feels like when death interrupts it, and about bearing the unbearable and describing an experience that seems beyond words. Lyrical, hopeful, it is also about the magical way in which death and life exist so vividly beside one another, and the wonder of being human.

23 Jun 2021 | IMMY LUCAS ON SUSTAINABILITY | 01:12:24

My chat with Immy, who you can find on Instagram @sustainablyvegan, was, for me a really balanced version of this conversation and what we talked about felt actionable and realistic and reflective of the nuance. Find out more about Immy's work here.

20 Apr 2022 | HAPPINESS WITH WILL YOUNG | 01:12:19
This week Clemmie explores happiness, or maybe contentment....or should that be joy? Either way, her guest is one of her mum's faves, and two-time Brit award winner Will Young.
Will shot to fame in 2002 after winning the first series of Pop Idol. He has released seven albums, four of which hit Number One in the UK charts, and he has 10 million record sales and two Brit Awards to his name.
But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Will is a leading voice in mental-health awareness. His highly acclaimed book 'To be a Gay Man' explored mental-health awareness, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community with a focus on gay shame. He has a podcast - ‘The Wellbeing Lab’ - where he interviews experts on different mental health topics each week, AND his second book ‘Be Yourself Only Happier’ is released imminently.
In this episode Clemmie finds out what makes Will happy and what steps he's taken in his life to ensure he stays that way. Plus they do not talk about dry stone walling.
