In November 1982, South Korean boxer Duk-Koo Kim entered the boxing ring to fight American boxer Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini in a highly awaited bout that received a lot of media attention. The two were competing for the WBA lightweight title. In the 14th round of what was a ferocious contest, Mancini headed straight for Kim, where he blasted him with a sharp left hook. Mancini missed with a left and a right, then connected with a straight right to the centre of Kim’s face. The South Korean tumbled backward, falling flat on his back, and sliding underneath the ropes. Kim stayed down for a couple of seconds before rolling over and getting to his knees. His vision was impaired, and he struggled to grasp the lower rope. Once Kim clutched it, he stood halfway up and began to stumble backward. Diego Corrales vs. José Luis Castillo was a boxing match in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on May 7, 2005. The fight was a 12-round lightweight unification bout between Corrales and Castillo. Corrales, who had a career record of 39–2 with 32 knockouts, was the World Boxing Organization (WBO) champion. Castillo, at 52–6–1 with 46 knockouts, was the World Boxing Council (WBC) champion. Shaun Cummins was a British boxer who won the WBA Inter-Continental super welterweight title in 1992 and went on to fight for the British and European middleweight titles. After his career had ended life seemed to have taken an upward trajectory in his new role as bodyguard to boy band Blue and a doorman on the local night clubs, that was until an accident would leave him paralysed from the waist down and in need of constant care. Edward Henry "Harry" Greb (June 6, 1894 – October 22, 1926) was an American professional boxer. Nicknamed "The Pittsburgh Windmill", he is widely regarded by many boxing historians as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers of all time. He was the American light heavyweight champion from 1922 to 1923 and the world middleweight champion from 1923 to 1926. He fought a recorded 298 times in his 13-year career, which began at around 140 pounds. Not only that, but he fought against the best opposition the talent-rich 1910s and 20s could provide him and despite starting as a welterweight, he was frequently squaring off against and beating light heavyweights and even heavyweights.
