Denise Stoner, a retired Floridian and member of the MUFON National Abduction Research team, has claimed to have been abducted by other-worldly beings at least 50 times, that she can remember. In the early hours of Jan 12, 1975, in Braddock Park in North Bergen, New Jersey local store owner George O’Barski was in his car when the radio suddenly filled with static. Around the same time, a doorman from the nearby Stonehenge Apartments reported seeing strange floating lights. O’Barski would later go on to describe the fantastic encounter he had that night in an interview with known UFO investigator Bud Hopkins. In 1973 an Australian government cartographer was reported to have seen a bizarre phenomenon deep in the heart of the continent nation. The Kelly-Hopkinsville UFO encounter is easily one of the most terrifying reports of interactions with extraterrestrial creatures. During the 1960s and ’70s, the world’s two largest superpowers vied to be the first to put a human on the surface of our closest planetary neighbor, the moon. Both the United States and the Soviet Union spent an immense amount of manpower and resources in order to study and map the lunar surface in preparation for this massive endeavor. NASA’s Apollo missions, from 1969-1972, put a total of 12 people on the moon. Beginning in the year 250 A.D. the Mayan culture of Central America reached new heights of civilization. Marked by outstanding advancements in art, science, and architecture this period is referred to as the Mayan classic period. On December 10, 1946 one of the worst aviation disasters in U.S. history occurred on the slopes of Mt. Rainier. Six transport planes departed from San Diego, California en route to Seattle carrying between them more than 200 U.S. Marines. While flying over southwestern Washington, the aircraft all encountered heavy weather and were forced to navigate solely by instruments. During the Cold War, the constant threat of a global nuclear conflict was a dark spectre that haunted the heads of the world’s superpowers. During the 1960’s, a person could not have been blamed if they thought the US was coming apart at the seams. Everyday citizens had begun to organize and question the status quo. To those in power, the status quo was what had made the US a global superpower and, to a select few in the FBI, those who fought for changes to the status quo were a threat to national security. Those involved in activist groups that were at odds with the philosophies that dominated the administrative levels of the FBI such as the Communist Party USA, Black Panthers, Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, and The Nation of Islam were deemed threats and were systematically targeted to be “neutralized”. Documents obtained by activists and uncovered by groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union revealed this coordinated harassment of groups with ideologies that were deemed “un-american” was orchestrated and executed under the watchful eye of J. In 1978, John was driving up a forest service road deep in the Yuba mountains when he lost control of his old Volkswagen bug and became stuck in a snowdrift. Things went from bad to worse when John went to push his car out and began suffering a heart attack. Trapped in immense pain, John sought refuge in his vehicle and prayed help would come. Soon, hours passed when John saw headlights pull up behind him. A group of men approached the vehicle with flashlights. John in desperate need for medical attention yelled for help but none would come, rather the lights went out and the group of men went silent and retreated into the darkness. Unbeknownst to John, he may have just been the last person to witness the Yuba County five alive. Bill Sterling, Jack Hewit,t Ted Wire, Jack Madruga and Gary Matthias were on their way home from a basketball game in Chico an hour away from their home. The five men never made it. During the 1700’s thousands of French settlers were expelled from the Northeastern region of North America and were forced to return to France or resettle in various other areas. One of the most popular destinations was the then Spanish colony of Louisiana. In 2011 the FBI added a short one-page memo to their extensive online archive that sent waves throughout the UFO world. The memo, addressed directly to then-director J. Edgar Hoover, had been sent from the desk of the head of the Washington field office. The memo contained claims from a third-party source that the Air Force has recovered alien craft from the New Mexico desert. Not only had the military recovered crashed vehicles but also the memo had details of bodies that had been retrieved from inside the craft, as well. UFO researchers pored over these details and came to the conclusion that, although the details seemed to resemble the alleged Roswell UFO crash, the memo may actually have described an entirely different event from a book published in 1950 that contained claims from scientists who had worked on the retrieval of an approximately 100 ft craft almost 300 miles northwest of the infamous Roswell.
