In this episode we sit down with Todd Mead and are also joined by Cori and Baileys father John, Todd and John grew up Together and had not seen each other in 30 years! Our conversations ranged from hunting in the Adirondacks, how to go about hunting a specific area, hunting your strengths, elk hunting, and even some story's from one of Todds previous books! In this episode we were fortunate enough to be able to sit down with our local Senator Dan stec and his Legislative Director Jon Alexander. We cover various gun topics that are currently floating around NYS, but our main focus was one that hit very close to home, that being the new gun laws that directly correlate with the Adirondack Park. There was a lot of confusion on this specific issue and is why we took action and wanted to sit down with Dan to try and clear the air on what is really going on. Dan and Jon hit on many key points and did a fantastic job thoroughly explaining what is happening, who it will effect, and how it will effect anybody within the park. We also converse about the concealed carry laws within NYS. We hope you guys take out as much as we did in this podcast and have a better understanding on how this may pertain to you. In this episode all of us boys sit down and have a very sporadic conversation on several different topics which include, the Biden administration dealing with public lands, hunting out of saddles, deer habitat, and briefly give our opinion on running cell cams. Within this episode we (as usual) cover many different topics and scenarios. As many of you know Zach travels all across the U.S, hunting various different types of animals, and is infamously known for being part of the THP crew. This past winter Cori and Bailey met Zach at a hunting camp in the Adirondacks where Zach tried his hand at tracking. Brad and Bailey are joined by Christian Bills, an Adirondack local who has shot his fair share of big bucks! Christian has spent his life chasing deer in the Adirondacks, from doing drives, still hunting, and even tracking he has used all these different styles to find success up in the mountains. He also just recently started hunting out of a remote tent camp where he went on to shoot the buck they named their tent camp after "9 Power". This is a podcast we had been greatly looking forward too. In this episode we sit down with Paul Putera, and pick pauls brain on thermal hubs, and bare ground tracking. We discovered Paul through other podcasts and were clinging on to all the information he was distributing relating to thermal hubs and bare ground tracking and wanted to ask him questions we had for ourselves. In this much anticipated podcast we get to sit down with Ben Secor and his son Brian and talk about hunting remote bucks in the Adirondacks. Ben has hunted out of remote tent camps for many years now and has had an unbelievable amount of success in doing so. Weather he is tracking them on snow, sitting them out, or just still hunting, he has killed bucks just about every way! With their tent camp being located over 6 miles deep in the Adirondack park over the years they have had to come up with some resourceful ways to get gear and themselves back and forth, one of the methods of transportation they chose was pack mules! Ben shares some pretty entertaining stories from back when they used these mules to get to and from tent camp.
