This week we take a look at the Lord of the Nazgûl and his very long history.

This guy is like 4000 years old, and we only see him for a short time in Lord of the Rings. Criminal. Let's look at why he was the chief of Sauron's servants.

In this episode, we dive into Sauron’s return to Mordor after his disastrous beach trip to Númenor, his transformation from deceiver to full-blown terror lord, and the rise of Elendil and his sons in Middle-earth.

We break down how Aragorn is connected to Númenor’s good side, the founding of Gondor and Arnor, and the Last Alliance’s war against Sauron.

Also, we mourn the Entwives, question Elven leadership skills, and admire some good old fisticuffs.

This week we look at Balrogs, their history throughout 3 ages of Middle-earth, their creation, their power and the versions Tolkien drafted before settling on the big lads now.

Right. Númenor. Big fancy island, best blokes in Middle-earth, then they get ideas above their station and decide to invade heaven on earth. Because that always ends well. Enter Sauron—smooth talker, professional gaslighter—who convinces them to bin their common sense and pick a fight with the gods.

Spoiler: it doesn’t end well.

I’ll walk you through how the biggest empire of Men managed to self-destruct in the most dramatic way possible, with plenty of bad decisions, arrogance, and a biblical-level flood. It’s a disaster. You’ll love it.

A married couple take on the works of J.R.R Tolkien and Chris seeks to make a beginner's guide to the lore for Becca.

We discuss what Ulmo, Aule, Yavanna, Manwe, Arda and Melkor did during their downtime and how their actions shaped the world that would come to be for the children of Eru Ilúvatar. We also explore the role of Elves and Men and how they will fit into this young world. From the awakening of the Elves, to the gifts of men, to their eventual departure from Middle-Earth, we take a trip through the history of these fascinating times.
